This is one of the characters of a new manga series that I am in the process of writing/ drawing called "Elyrryn." Rebecca is part of a tribe of people known as the yy'ssaarr. They have the characteristics of goats, foxes, deer, mountain lions and squirrels. (Talk about a weird combination! 0_0) Rebecca is the medicine woman of her tribe of people, who live in the village of Te'yar. She uses her flute to draw the illnesses out of her patients. She also has the legendary "healing touch" in both of her hands. She keeps them covered with gloves when they are not in use to prevent her powers from overtaking her. This is just a quick sketch that I did of the character but I was pleased with the way it turned out. I hope that you like it and tell me what you think! Comments are always welcomed and appreciated.

The look in her face shows she's a healer. Her head is quite unified as one decoration and it would be really awesome to see this one colored! Seems a very interesting story~

Wow, that's quite a composite woman ^^ Aww, I wish I had a big poofy tail like a squirrel, hehe. I like how you did the folds in her drapery and she has a cute expression. If the horns on her head are from the goat part of her, I might suggest making them thicker (though they look thin like deer antlers) and perhaps some indentations. Otherwise, interesting character design and idea (I like the part about the flute drawing out the illness ^^). Keep it up!

Hee hee Having a big poofy tail like a squirrel can have it's advantages. I could hide all of my money in it! And it would make a comfy pillow for when I sleep. Hmmmm This has possibilities. *Considers infusing squirrel DNA with her own* lol Thank you so much for your nice comment! I think I might leave the horns like they are but I should definately give them more detail. *nod nod* ^^ Horns are one of those things that are difficult to draw detail on without making em look cheesy. I'll see what I can do in the next pic.

Interesting~ I didn't know you were going to do a manga series <3 I think that's great sweetie. This character truly is unique with all of those different animal characteristics, that's all I gotta say! ^^ I hope you continue and we get to hear more about it. :hug:
