...Like a cave of hidden treasure...

...Like the wreckage of the ocean...

Love is an Ocean...
...Like the castles of the shore...

Love is the shore...
...Like a ship tied up at harbor...

Love is a harbor...
...Like a boat away from home...

Love is a home...
...Like a haven for life's travelers...

Love is a traveler...
...Like the winds of rugged canyons...

Love is a canyon...
...Like the mazes of my soul...

...The hope I wish to find...

I find myself writing of love a lot..and I think this is great..well done..and I like the ocean like theme as well..I don't know it that was your intention, but love is like a beacon of light on a distant shore..we all find our selves drifting at sea hoping to reach that shore...

You know, I forget that I really do like poetry. And this was really nice. The subject of love is very hard to take seriously unless you are a romantic person, but you did very well with this, I liked it a lot.

Do you really believe that the people who understand the most about love are the ones that have a "good" relationship? -_- I think the best people who can really define it are the ones that have either expirienced it and lost it, or who keep looking for it in their heart.

I agree completely. ^_^ If life was perfect, we'd all be living in a Disney movie...and quite frankly...I'd be annoyed. 0_0 LOL The bad times have to come in order to appreciate the good ones, so I always try to look on the bright side through the dark hours of my life. (Given it doesn't always work, but I AM human. 0_0 lol)
