This is one of the characters of a new manga series that I am in the process of writing/ drawing called "Elyrryn." This character’s name is Eries and she is the legendary protector of the book of Tyzarous, which contains spells that only she can use. Tundma (who has appeared in earlier postings) is the guardian of the book as well as Eries. He has the capability of growing into a handsome guardian beast which I may draw later if I am not too lazy. Eries’ formal title is the “Zh’aa of Tyzarous” or “The protector of Tyzarous.” She is from Earth (more specifically Ireland ^_^) and is 18 years old. She finds the book in an old library and ends up awakening Tundma who takes her through a portal to the world of Elyrryn where she is destined to train under the watchful eye of Latitia. (Latitia is Eries master and is a dragon of the fire clan! I’ll be posting a picture of her human form shortly.) Eries must master all of the spells in the book to defeat the evil lord Garvinian who has ruled over the land for 1,000 years. Anyways, I hope that you like my random sketch and tell me what you think! Comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Ooo, she's very pretty ^^ I really like her hair, and hair styles (long hair always presents a lot of opportunities for those) The facial markings on the right picture are interesting, too. In the left picture I'd suggest adding a bit more jaw where it meets at the ear (it should go down at least to the mouth). The profile on the right is pretty good but the upper lip and chin should be curved rather than straight; if you feel below your nose there's a dip as well as under your lower lip and then the chin juts out below it. I always have trouble with profiles >_< But, the best way to learn the contours of the face is to study and draw from real life/photographs/magazines/yourself in the mirror. Hope that helps and great job on another interesting character design! Hehe, I love Irish accents...

Thank you! yeah i need to work a bit on my profiles. I think that i might buy myself a few fashion books (you know that have clothing designs and models in them) and start doing studies on the human anatomy. I draw all of this stuff out of my heaad with no reference so it can be tricky sometimes. lol ^^ I need to hit the books and study more. *nod nod*

Actually, this story arch is completely seperate from my main fantasy book series. I decided to use all of my original drawings and make a completely different story using all of the characters that I drew. So you were right! ^_^
